The role
As the Project and Programme Delivery Manager, you will leverage your expertise and experience to be the driving force behind the successful delivery of customer projects and programmes. Working cross-departmentally internally and with external stakeholders, this position encompasses overseeing the execution of individual projects as well as the coordination and alignment of programmes; to realise project and programme objectives and achieve organisational goals.
Objective
With your expertise in project and programme management, you will work within a delivery framework and governance structure that optimises efficiency and resource utilisation; facilitates effective decision-making; mitigates risks; and ensures the attainment of desired outcomes. Whilst holding your own portfolio, your role will involve guiding team members, fostering collaboration, and driving a culture of excellence in project and programme delivery.
Building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, you will be instrumental in managing their expectations, addressing concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction. By actively monitoring performance against defined metrics and KPIs, you will proactively identify risks and issues, taking decisive actions to keep projects and programmes on track and deliver results.
Your focus on continuous improvement will be evident as you drive the adoption of best practices and lessons learned. Your strategic insights and recommendations will contribute to inform decision-making, enabling the organisation to seize opportunities and overcome challenges.

Key responsibilities
Work closely with the PMO and deliver to the project and programme delivery framework, methodologies, processes, and tools.
Establish project governance standards and develop and maintain all related policies, procedures, and templates.
Optimise resource allocation and utilisation, ensuring efficient utilisation of personnel and budget.
Engage and manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring their satisfaction and managing their expectations.
Monitor and report on project and programme performance against defined metrics, milestones, and KPIs, proactively identifying and addressing risks and issues.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, promoting best practices and lessons learned across project and programme delivery.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging methodologies, and technological advancements.
Essential skills and qualifications
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a senior project /programme manager, delivering complex projects and programmes within the technology sector.
Professional services/consultancy background.
Effective client management and communication abilities, with the capacity to engage and influence at all levels.
Demonstrated expertise in project and programme governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and drive cross-functional teams to achieve excellence and customer success.
Strong administrative and organisational abilities, combined with astute analytical and problem-solving skills.
Expertise in a range of project management methodologies and best practices.

Work Location and Travel Expectations
This position is UK based and will be primarily remote. Occasional travel may be required for client meetings, workshops, or internal team engagements. Any required travel will be planned in advance and supported by Raidiam. You must have the right to work in the UK to be considered.
