Graduate QA Engineer
About Raidiam
Raidiam is the global organisation at the forefront of data sharing technologies that are changing the world. We believe in empowering everyone to share their data safely, securely and simply; in a trusted and consented way; creating the potential to be seamlessly connected to the products and services they need.
Since our inception, Raidiam has been the enabling force behind the world’s most significant data sharing developments, including Open Finance and Open Insurance in Brazil. We continue to be called upon by governments, regulators and businesses to provide advice and technical support to achieve their data sharing ambitions.
We work from the centre – creating ecosystems with solid foundations to establish and nurture trust, the key to any successful data sharing. This makes us unique as the only provider in the market to operate from the core.
Objective of the role
You’d be joining as a Junior Member of our team helping the Conformance Suite team create the Functional Tests that are required for an Institution to be able to formally enter a Data Sharing Ecosystem, like Open Finance and Open Insurance. In your first year at Raidiam will learn best practices around code development with Java and acquire a good understanding around OAuth 2.0, FAPI and Open Finance APIs.
We’re looking for a curious, detail-driven QA professional who cares deeply about building reliable software and improving how teams test. You’ll work closely with engineers and product teams to ensure our web applications and APIs are robust, secure, and great to use.
Key responsibilities:
Participate as a QA Engineer in Conformance Suite Scrum ceremonies and planning sessions, working closely with QA, Product, and Engineering teams to define test strategy and coverage.
Design, develop, and maintain functional conformance tests for Open Finance APIs using Java, in line with Functional API specifications defined by multiple Data Sharing Ecosystems.
Collaborate with QA, Engineering, and Product teams to investigate, clarify, and resolve issues raised by Data Sharing Ecosystem participants relating to conformance testing.
Review and critically analyse Functional API Specifications from different Data Sharing Ecosystems, ensuring consistency, testability, and alignment with international standards.
Apply industry-standard Agile development practices across test development, documentation, and delivery.
Support (when required) Infrastructure and Security Engineers in maintaining the Conformance Suite platform, including exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
Essential skills and experience:
1–3 years of experience in a QA, SDET, or Software Testing role, ideally within a financial institution or technology start-up.
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
Hands-on experience testing web applications and APIs.
An AI enthusiast who enjoys using AI tools to improve quality, productivity, and problem-solving.
A genuine passion for test automation — not just exposure, but a strong desire to learn, build, and continuously improve automation as a core part of your role.
Nice to have:
Experience with coding and test automation (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Cypress, RestAssured)
Familiarity with Postman or other API testing tools
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
Interest in security or financial services technology
